After a few years’ hiatus, Jessica is finally back with a new web show episode that she filmed a couple of weeks ago at Spirit Halloween. Enjoy!
Arrr, mateys! ‘Tis Talk Like a Pirate Day once again, a day when you an’ yer dolls can pillage, plunder, look fer buried treasure, swashbuckle, an enjoy th’ high tide!
I have a treat fer ye scallywags an’ landlubbers alike. I have fixed up and added back th’ first four Red Saga photo stories from over th’ years. I also have a sort of brand new adventure. I took photos for part five o’ th’ Red Star Saga back in 2016, however I didn’t get around to finishin’ writin’ th’ story. I have just finished writin’ th’ story now an’ have posted this new adventure on th’ Photo Stories page which you can find under th’ My Doll Play section!
So sit back an’ enjoy readin’ up on th’ fun an’ silly adventures about th’ crew o’ th’ Red Star.

I have added three more Halloween crafts back to the site! You can learn how to make faux Ghost Sugar Cookies, turn lollipops or other candy into Candy Ghosts, and create some Animal Ears for your dolls’ Halloween costumes!
I have decided to work on moving over all of my site pages to the WordPress format which will be a long work in progress (there are a lot of pages from over the years!). As I add pages back to the site, I will try to share most of them here. For some of you, it might have been awhile since you last visited each page; and for others, it might be the first time you’re seeing each page.
For today, I have added back two Halloween crafts since Fall and Halloween are both just around the corner! First, help your doll make a Star Wand for her costume (perfect for magicians, fairies, witches and wizards), and then make some delicious faux Candy Corn for your dolls to enjoy during the Halloween season.
My mom and I took our Blaire dolls with us to Billings Farm today. (My Blaire is wearing the green hoodie).

A sneak peek:
This adorable calf tried to eat my shirt and then my hand, lol.
Both Blaires pose for a photo in the Sunflower House garden.
Two pretty horses.
Happy National Teddy Bear Day! I hope you have at least one beloved teddy bear you can hug today!

I hope you’re having a nice holiday weekend (I know for some of us who work, it might not feel much different than any other weekend/week).
I hope that you’re able to spend some time with family and friends, and also take some time out for relaxing on your own, maybe playing dolls or working on a craft.
I’ve gotten a head start on Fall and Halloween crafts, both for my dolls and myself. The past few years, Fall and Winter holidays have felt rushed, and I’m hoping to try to spend a bit less time on my devices and a bit more time on trying to enjoying this time of year that we’re entering. Not sure how successful I’ll be, nevertheless even a little less time on my devices will hopefully help.
Many of the dolls are enjoying the extended weekend before their second week of school starts. Kirsten found a scarf that she started a few years ago and is determined to finish it this year. She’s not sure yet if she’s going to keep it for herself or if she’s going to give it to a friend as a Christmas gift.
Here is a cute picture of Darci Claire Martin and Felicity Ann Merriman together.
As I am still trying to figure out WordPress and if it will be the right fit for Cherished Playtime’s blog, there may be some testing going on at times, with random posts.
Welcome to the new blog for Cherished Playtime! I am trying to figure out how to use WordPress. I will say that I find Weebly’s drag and drop editor easier to use, and also feel that my basic html is easier as well. I would like to be able to get the hang of using WordPress and be able to post more dolly content in this blog format. For now, I am most likely planning to keep the other website pages as is (I know that the images need major cleaning up from that Photobucket fiasco a few years ago. That may still take a long time, unfortunately.
