Today is World Bee Day! Blaire put on her white bee-print dress and took her bee Squishmallow, Sunny, out to greet the morning bees around the yard. Blaire’s middle name is Melissa (I gave her my first name as her middle name) which means “honeybee”.

Blaire loved observing the bees go from flower to flower, humming and buzzing about. After spending some time outside, she went back inside to make some dairy-free pancakes topped with honey instead of maple syrup (which she also loves).

Hello! I hope you all enjoy a beautiful day tomorrow and that your dolls and plushies do too! Santa will be arriving in Star Valley soon and everyone is getting ready to go to bed and can’t wait to find out what they will wake up to.

Here are some photos of some of my dolls dressed for the holidays.

Addy decorating the tree.

On this Christmas Eve the dolls of Star Valley have been busy wrapping the last of the gifts, enjoying each others’ company and eagerly awaiting the arrival of Santa Claus and his reindeer.

Snow is softly falling upon the little town in Doll Country. Nicki Fleming is wishing for a pair of skis. Courtney Moore wants a rad boombox for her cassettes.

Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate! And Happy Hanukkah too! I hope you all enjoy a lovely day tomorrow.

Happy New Year! I hope you are all enjoying the first month of 2022. All of my dolls are in the process of changing out of their holiday outfits. They had a wonderful holiday season, however it is time to put away the decorations and start decorating for Valentine’s Day! There has been a bit of a cold snap so many of the dolls have enjoyed cozying up inside for the past week.

Maryellen snuggled up under her new blanket, with her reindeer stuffed animal.

Arrr, mateys!  ‘Tis Talk Like a Pirate Day once again, a day when you an’ yer dolls can pillage, plunder, look fer buried treasure, swashbuckle, an enjoy th’ high tide!

I have a treat fer ye scallywags an’ landlubbers alike.  I have fixed up and added back th’ first four Red Saga photo stories from over th’ years.  I also have a sort of brand new adventure.  I took photos for part five o’ th’ Red Star Saga back in 2016, however I didn’t get around to finishin’ writin’ th’ story.  I have just finished writin’ th’ story now an’ have posted this new adventure on th’ Photo Stories page which you can find under th’ My Doll Play section!

So sit back an’ enjoy readin’ up on th’ fun an’ silly adventures about th’ crew o’ th’ Red Star.

I have decided to work on moving over all of my site pages to the WordPress format which will be a long work in progress (there are a lot of pages from over the years!).  As I add pages back to the site, I will try to share most of them here.  For some of you, it might have been awhile since you last visited each page; and for others, it might be the first time you’re seeing each page.

For today, I have added back two Halloween crafts since Fall and Halloween are both just around the corner!  First, help your doll make a Star Wand for her costume (perfect for magicians, fairies, witches and wizards), and then make some delicious faux Candy Corn for your dolls to enjoy during the Halloween season.

I hope you’re having a nice holiday weekend (I know for some of us who work, it might not feel much different than any other weekend/week).

I hope that you’re able to spend some time with family and friends, and also take some time out for relaxing on your own, maybe playing dolls or working on a craft.

I’ve gotten a head start on Fall and Halloween crafts, both for my dolls and myself. The past few years, Fall and Winter holidays have felt rushed, and I’m hoping to try to spend a bit less time on my devices and a bit more time on trying to enjoying this time of year that we’re entering. Not sure how successful I’ll be, nevertheless even a little less time on my devices will hopefully help.

Many of the dolls are enjoying the extended weekend before their second week of school starts. Kirsten found a scarf that she started a few years ago and is determined to finish it this year. She’s not sure yet if she’s going to keep it for herself or if she’s going to give it to a friend as a Christmas gift.
